Willie Stargell was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988. During his 21-year career with the Pirates, Stargell batted .282 with 2,232 hits, 475 home runs and 1,540 RBI’s, helping his team capture two National League pennants and two World Series titles in 1971 and 1979.
