Emmitt Smith was the first-round pick in the 1990 NFL Draft of the Dallas Cowboys. During his long professional career, he became the NFL's all-time rushing leader, breaking the record formerly held by Walter Payton, and played for three Super Bowl-winning Dallas Cowboys teams. Smith is the only running back to ever win a Super Bowl championship, the NFL MVP award, the NFL rushing crown, and the Super Bowl MVP award all in the same season. He is also one of only four running backs to lead the NFL in rushing three or more consecutive seasons. Smith was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010. This jersey has been video-matched to November 23rd, 2000 against the Minnesota Vikings when Smith rushed for 100 yards. Smith also wore this jersey on December 17th against the NY Giants rushing for 46 yards and scoring a touchdown as well as December 25th against the Tennessee Titans. On the front left tail is the Nike manufacturer’s tag size “46”. Inside the neck is a strip tag reading “00-46”. On the upper left chest is the Tom Landry memorial patch and the official “NFL” shield logo is on the v-neck. The player number “22” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “E. SMITH”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a MeiGray Photo-Match LOA.
