This original Joe Louis' U.S. Army headgear was worn during exhibition in 1942 against Jimmy Mack. This black and white leather headgear has original black laces and is stamped in the front for the manufacturer Goldsmith and also stamped U.S. Army. Both signed the headgear in black with Mack adding the inscription "13-1 8 KO's" and in our opinion rate a combined 7. The headgear shows heavy wear but remains intact.
