Jim Kelly was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 on the first ballot and has his jersey number 12 retired by the franchise. On the front left tail is a “Champion” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a “Champion” distributor’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored 1992 Exclusively for Buffalo Bills”. The player number “12” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. These are painted in white with a red-painted border. Across the back reads the player name, “KELLY” in white heat pressed vinyl on a blue nameplate. Below the player number on each sleeve is a Champion logo embroidered. The jersey shows hit marks throughout, unrepaired holes as well as staining. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
