This turn-back-the-clock jersey was worn by Doug Weight during his rookie season and was styled to replicate the jerseys worn by the 1940 Stanley Cup Champion New York Rangers. Attached inside the collar is the Maska manufacturer’s tag and a size “52” tag. Above is the Gerry Cosby distributor’s tag. On the upper left chest is the “NHL 75” anniversary patch. Diagonally down the front reads “RANGERS”. The player number “39” is on both sleeves and the back and across the back is the player name “WEIGHT”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on white tackle twill. The fight strap is intact. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Rangers LOA and a MeiGray LOA.
