Steven Stamkos’ quick ascension through the ranks of the NHL came as a surprise to hardly anyone. After being selected first overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, the Lightning center set a franchise record by scoring 23 goals as a rookie and finished fifth in total points among all NHL first-year players. Stamkos scored his first NHL career goal on October 30th, 2008 against the Buffalo Sabres in this jersey. Attached below the inside collar is a size “54” tag with the player number “91” handwritten on in blue marker. The fight strap is intact with “08-09 #2” handwritten on also in blue marker. Across the front is the Lightning’s team logo crest. The player number “91” appears above, on both sleeves and the back in black on silver on blue tackle twill. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “STAMKOS” in black tackle twill. There is a small repair to the right sleeve and minor stick marks. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA, a MeiGray LOA and a Lightning COA.
