Drafted 15th overall in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, the recently deceased Mike Bossy began a stellar ten-year career whereby he established himself as one of the most talented snipers the game has ever seen. He became the first Islander to score 500 goals and 1000 points. Inside beneath the collar is the Pederson's manufacturer’s tag with the number “22” handwritten on in black marker. Across the front is the Islanders team logo crest. The player number “22” is on both sleeves and the back in blue on orange tackle twill. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “BOSSY” in blue tackle twill. Heavy wear consisting of puck and stick marks, team repairs, board burns and loose threads are throughout the front and rear body and both sleeves. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA and a Selby Colson LOA.
