Hall of Famer Bobby Hull is the most beloved Blackhawk to have ever skated in Chicago. After entering the league in 1957-58, Hull led the Blackhawks to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 23 years with a brilliant playoff performance in 1961. Hull was twice awarded the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's MVP. During the early 1960s Hull personally gifted this pair of gloves to a Chicago police officer following a Blackhawk game. Stamped onto each wrist strap is “627”. On the thumbs appear “Kurv-Pam”. The manufacturer’s tag inside the wrist has been removed with an outline remaining and a player number “9” handwritten in vintage black marker. Scuff marks, wear and overall heavy game action is found on all surfaces of the gloves. Hull signed the top wrist of each glove in bold marker and in our opinion rate a combined 9. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA and a MEARS LOA.
