There are only two numbers retired by the Buffalo Bills and one is Jim Kelly’s No. 12. The five-time Pro Bowler led the NFL in touchdown passes one time and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 on the first ballot. On the front left tail is a “Champion” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a “Champion” distributor’s tag that reads, “DESIGNED & TAILORED 1993 EXCLUSIVELY FOR BUFFALO BILLS”. The player number “12” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. These are painted in blue with a red-painted border. Across the back reads the player name, “KELLY” in blue heat pressed vinyl on a white nameplate. Below the player number on each sleeve is a Champion logo embroidered. The jersey shows hit marks throughout, staining and multiple unrepaired holes. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
