Hall of Famer Bob Lilly was an 11-time Pro Bowler and 7-time All-Pro. The extremely durable Lilly played in 196 consecutive regular-season games. The Cowboys played in seven NFL/NFC title contests in an eight-year period from 1966 through 1973 and also in Super Bowls V and VI. Lilly wore this jersey in Super Bowl V on January 17th, 1971 against the Baltimore Colts where he recorded 4 tackles. Inside beneath the collar is the Southland manufacturer’s tag with an attached flag tag reading “SIZE 52XXL”. On the verso of this tag is a Tri-Star hologram serial number “7839165”. Repairs are present on both of the shoulder areas and the back and paint transfers are seen on the upper left chest. The player number “74” is across the front, back and on both sleeves. Across the back is the player name “LILLY” on a blue nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in white tackle twill. Lilly signed inside the right collar area in silver marker with the added inscription “HOF 80” and in our opinion rates a 9. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. The best example of a Lilly gamer known Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA and an ALOA from JSA.
