The greatest basketball team ever asseMLBed for competition was the 1992 United States Men’s Olympic “Dream Team” that competed in Barcelona, Spain. The 1992 Olympic Team as a whole was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010. The best player on the best team ever asseMLBed is Michael Jordan, who is a six-time NBA champion and six-time NBA Finals MVP. Jordan was the only player to start in all eight games during the 1992 Olympic Men’s Basketball Tournament for Team USA. Inside the collar is the Champion manufacturer’s tag size “L” with washing instructions and a faded black equipment manager marking. The shooting shirt measures out bigger than a large and is clearly mistagged. Across the front reads “USA BASKETBALL” screened in red, white and blue. Across the back is the player name “JORDAN” screened in red on blue. This is the only known shooting shirt from MJ’s time with the Dream Team, is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and shows wear.
