Harold Baines was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019. The six-time all-star wore this jersey during the 1984 season with the White Sox. On the front left tail is the Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Attached is an additional Sand-Knit tag reading “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the CHICAGO WHITE SOX” which is partially detached. On the inside rear tail are two strip tags reading “84 44” and “BAINES” handwritten in faded black marker. Across the front reads “SOX” in white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “BAINES” and below is the player number “3”. These are done in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly into the jersey. Minor staining is present on the back of the jersey and the patch has been removed from the left sleeve. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
