With 15 pennants and 9 world championships, the St. Louis Cardinals take a back seat only to the New York Yankees in winning tradition. These two programs from the 1926 World Series will put a smile on the faces of longtime Bird fans, as that Series brought the Cards their first ever title with a 6-game victory against the mighty Yankees of Ruth, Gehrig and Lazzeri. The 9" x 11" Yankee Stadium program features head shots of Yankee manager Miller Huggins and his Card counterpart Rogers Hornsby on the cover and there is a score sheet insert in which the Yanks' 2-1 Game One is charted in pencil. Both programs are in very good to excellent condition, and the latter has a vertical fold.
