Hall of Famer Juan Marichal was a ten-time All-Star, 1965 All-Star Game MVP and threw a no-hitter in June of 1963. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. The year tag beneath this and the player ID strip tag inside the collar are sans with an outline remaining. Across the front reads “GIANTS” and on the back is the player number “27” both in original black on orange felt. There is deterioration to the black felt on the player number “7” and the bottom button is missing. Marichal signed the front of the jersey in blue marker and in our opinion rates a strong 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use with extended organizational wear. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
