This 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series winning pin, in excellent condition, is white with Dodger-blue lettering. The back of this 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" pin shows very slight rust and has a clasp. The front of the pin reads "World Series" across the top and has two flags that read "New York Yankees" and "Brooklyn Dodgers" on the middle of the pin. But across the bottom of the pin reads "Ebbetts 1955 Field" with Ebbets spelled incorrectly! They may have spelled the name of their field wrong, but the Dodgers did everything else right in beating their crosstown rival, the Yankees, and winning their first World Championship.
