“Sweet Lou” Hudson scored 17,940 points in 13 NBA seasons and was a six-time all-star. Inside the rear left tail is the Rawlings size “40” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a blank white swatch and a tag with washing instructions. Across the front reads “ATLANTA”. The player number “23” appears on both the front and on the back. Below the back player number is the player name “HUDSON”. All numbering and lettering is done in the same white tackle twill sewn directly onto the blue jersey. This jersey was carried over and used for the following season. The name on back was added locally when the Hawks made a style change to include player names on their jerseys. A different level of wear is present on the front and back twill. A lime green stripe runs from the left shoulder, across the front neck area down the right side of the jersey where it alternates with a white stripe. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
