George “High Pockets” Kelly was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973. Kelly won two World Series championships with the New York Giants, led the National League in RBI for two seasons and led the NL in home runs in 1921. Adjacent to the wrist strap of this vintage leather glove is the Draper-Maynard manufacturers tag. The glove shows tremendous game-use with a darkened pocket and minor creasing throughout. Kelly signed on the back of the glove in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. Sourced from the family, this glove is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows wear. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
