Craig Morton was a first round draft pick in 1965 and lead the Dallas Cowboys to their first Super Bowl appearance after the 1970 season. On the back of the helmet is the “RIDDELL INC” manufacturer’s stamp. Adjacent to the right reads “KRA-LITE-8 MADE IN USA”. The Cowboys “Star” logo decal is on both sides of the helmet. The player number “14” is vintagely penned inside both ear holes in black marker. The original suspension padding is intact including the leather pads below the ear holes and forehead leather strap. The size “7 3/8” is stamped in the rear of the padding. The double bar face mask is also original. The player name and number that is usually on the back of the helmet is no longer there due to great game use. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. This helmet was sourced from the Bobby Franklin collection.
