This black pinup one-piece bathing suit was worn by American actress, model, singer and one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s, Marilyn Monroe. On the inner cup area are the initials “MM” in white along with a faint “#2” also in white. The zipper running up the back is fully functioning. The bathing suit is sans manufacturing tagging, was presented to us as celebrity-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by a LOA from George Garcia, the son of Manuel Garcia. The letter states, “Manuel worked in the motion picture industry for more than 25 years...he was a wardrobe handler for a number of celebrity photographers to include George Barris. George was known for his photo shoots with Marilyn Monroe from the 50s until the time of her death.”
