This award comes to us from the personal collection of Rick Rhoden. This award was for the battery that picked off and threw out the most base runners trying to steal. It measures 10” x 3” x 12” and is made of hard plastic painted black. The top is diamond shaped with a silver plaque that reads “Eraser Mate Eraser Rate Awards” along with the MLB logo and two Eraser Mate pens. The silver plaque on the base reads “NATIONAL LEAGUE 1982 Pittsburgh Pirates”. EX-NM overall condition, accompanied by a hand-signed LOA from Rick Rhoden.
