Ron Grable was a prominent racecar driver from the early 1960s through the 1980s. Inside the back of the collar is the “HINCHMAN INDIANAPOLIS” manufacturer’s tag with wash-tag attached. Stitched onto the left breast are; “hy-gain” logo-patch, “GOOD YEAR” logo-patch, “VALVOLINE” logo-patch, “CHAMPION” logo-patch. On the left sleeve is the “FIRST NATIONAL CITY TRAVELERS CHECKS” detailed logo patch. On the right sleeve is the “HINCHMAN NOMEX” manufacturer’s logo patch. Across the back of the racing-suit is a large flapless cape with; “hy-gain” largely done in black felt, below reads “McLAREN” embroidered largely in copper on blue, below this reads “GOOD YEAR” largely embroidered in light blue. Suit fixtures remain intact. The racing suit shows good use, and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
