This official MacGregor X10L basketball was used on March 10, 1956 in Phog Allen’s final game as coach of the Kansas Jayhawks. The two panels above the MacGregor logo have an inscription written in vintage white paint pen that reads “PRESENTED TO – DR. FORREST C. (PHOG) ALLEN – BY THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO IN MEMORY OF HIS LAST GAME – K.U. vs. C.U. – MARCH 10, 1956”. There is also a marking on the ball that reads “U. of COLO.” The ball comes in a vintage Kansas Jayhawks drawstring bag and includes the two nets used in the game. Comes with an Allen Estate LOA.
