Russell Wilson is known as one of the better dual threat QB’s in history. It all began as a redshirt in 2007 for NC State. Wilson redshirted during the 2007 season at NC State. In 2008, Wilson initially split time at quarterback with senior Daniel Evans and junior Harrison Beck. However, Evans and Beck saw no regular season action after Week 2 and Week 5, respectively. Thereafter, Wilson led the team to a 4–3 record in the regular season which NC State finished out on a four-game winning streak. During a 30–24 win over East Carolina, Wilson threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns. He threw for two touchdowns in each of the last six games in the regular season. NC State beat UVA 29 - 24 on 10/27/2007 and Russ was still a redshirt and did not play in this game. On the front left tail of this red mesh jersey, is the adidas M label with an additional tag: 4” L.B. ACC patch on the right breast with a black strip above, and an adidas logo on the left breast. NCS logos on the sleeves. Player number (16) is done on the front/back and shoulders, in white on black tackle twill. Player name (WILSON) is done in white tackle twill on a red nameplate across the back. Inside the neck is a white strip tag with: 07-40. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used, and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by a letter from SIA, confirming the match.
