Records are made to be broken...but this one has stood for 42 years ... and counting. Wayne Gretzky did not break it. Mario Lemieux did not break it. It was such a feat that it was recently voted one of the Top Moments in NHL History during the NHL's Centennial Celebration. On February 7, 1976, Toronto Maple Leafs captain Darryl Sittler broke one of the iconic records in professional sports when he registered 10 points, six goals and four assists, in one 60-minute National Hockey League game. He notched 10 points in Toronto's 11-4 rout of the Boston Bruins at Maple Leaf Gardens. Sittler finished his Hall of Fame career with 484 goals, 637 assists, and 1,121 points in 1,096 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Flyers, and Detroit Red Wings. Sittler was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989, and as part of the National Hockey League's Centennial celebration he was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL players. Inside the neck of this white and blue durene jersey, is the Rawlings size 52 label. Leafs team crest on the front. Captain’s “C” on the left breast in blue tackle twill.
