HOFer, Denis Savard was named as one of the ‘100 Greatest NHL Players’ in history. Savard was noted for his famed "Spin-o-rama" move, in which he spun around in a circle with the puck to create distance between the puck and his opponent. Savard has the top four single season point totals in Black Hawks history, and his total of 131 points in 1987-88 is the highest in franchise history. The Black Hawks made the playoffs in each of Savard's 13 years with the team, and Savard has the highest playoff point total in Black Hawks history, with 145 points. The white jersey has an original black number 18, with red trim, on the back, and an original black 18 with red trim is on each sleeve. An original Chicago Black Hawk crest is on the chest and original logos are on each sleeve. A faded Sandow SK tag is in the collar, and a Sandow SK is screened on the back hem. The name plate has been removed, but the jersey comes with an original "SAVARD" nameplate. We don't think that this is the one that was on this jersey, but it was off a vintage Denis Savard Black Hawks jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
