This game was originally supposed to be held in New Orleans, but racist occurrences with the players ended up driving it away from The Big Easy and into Houston. Tom Sestak played for the Buffalo Bills from 1962 - 1968. He was AFL Champ in 1964 & 65, AFL sacks leader in 64 and a member of the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame. The head coaches, Sid Gillman and Lou Saban, had faced each other in the 1964 AFL Championship game three weeks earlier, when Saban's Buffalo Bills had defeated Gillman's San Diego Chargers. On the front left tail of this white and blue durene jersey, is the SAND KNIT label with attached size 56 at. Player number (70) is done on the front / back, in blue tackle twill. White tackle twill stars around the shoulders. This jersey is properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
