Baseball historian Bill James rated Evans as "the most underrated player in baseball history." Evans hit 41 home runs in 1973, the first time in Major League History that three guys hit 40: Evans / Aaron / Davey Johnson. Inside the neck of this white knit, is the Wilson size 44 label. On the front left tail, is a white swatch with the year: 73 chain stitched in blue. Team name (Braves) across the chest and player number (11) below that and on the back - both done in blue on white tackle twill, with red embroidery. Atlanta logo on the right sleeve. Evans has signed the front left tail, in blue marker, in our opinion rating a 7. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a JSA ALOA.
