After the tragic attacks on September 11, 2001, Joe Torre led members of the Yankees to visit victims and first responders at various sites. This baseball was signed by Torre along with New York mayor Rudy Giuliani in order to raise funds for charity. The official 2001 World Series Baseball is numbered 106/911. Torre and Giuliani’s autographs rate 9 in our opinion. The ball has been authenticated and encapsulated by Beckett and is also accompanied by a Steiner cert card.
