Holtz hit pay dirt in 1988 when the Irish stormed to a perfect 12-0 season followed by a 34-21 victory over West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl clinching the National Championship. This dazzling sun-gold Irish helmet from the 1990s is signed by Holtz in black marker, rating a near-flawless 10. The Riddell helmet was worn by tailback Rick Lozano, who played from 1990-92 and whose name is handwritten in black marker inside the helmet, which has stickers on the front and back reading "Irish."
