The Arizona Diamondbacks were formed as an expansion team in 1998 and managed to defeat the highly favored New York Yankees in the 2001 World Series. The Diamondbacks remain the youngest expansion team in the MLB to win a World Series and the only major professional sports team in Arizona to win a championship title. This size 10 1/2 sample ring has “NAME” written on the left side as a placeholder. The inner part of the ring reads “STER” and the design matches rings given to staff members at Chase Field.
