"The Natural," the 1984 movie adaptation of Bernard Malamud's novel of success and failure set against the backdrop of baseball, faithfully recreated the look and feel of the national pastime during the 1920s. Robert Redford (as Roy Hobbs) and the rest of the cast were outfitted in perfectly-reproduced baggy flannel uniforms and makeshift mitts such as this piece of leather worn in the film. The soft brown glove even has a button with an original-style design. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
