This lock of Marilyn Monroe's golden blonde hair, trimmed from her head when she was a child, will fascinate Marilyn devotees. It was originally preserved by Marilyn's mother, along with other articles in a keepsake display for her daughter, who later gave the display to a close friend named Lynn Pupello. Marilyn's childhood blonde hair later turned light brown and her movie studio bosses made her dye it for her blonde bombshell image. The lock of hair is curled in a circular shape and contained in a transparent cover beneath a classic movie still from "Gentleman Prefer Blondes" and a statement of authenticity from expert Charles Hamilton, who examined documentation relating to the hair.
