Hall of Fame goaltender Patrick Roy retired as the NHL’s all-time winningest goalie with 551 wins. Roy is the current record holder with an amazing 151 playoff wins to go along with his 4 Stanley Cup rings. Worn by St. Patrick during the Candiens’ last Stanley Cup season. Roy won the second of his record three Conn Smythe Trophies that spring as he backstopped Montreal to an incredible 10 consecutive OT wins on the way to the Canadiens’ 24th Stanley Cup title. Inside the back of the neck, is the Maska label with adjacent size 56 tag. CCM & NHL patches on the back tail. Canadians crest on the front with nice wear / puckering. COUPE STANLEY 1893 - 1993 patch on the right breast. Player number (33) on the back, as well as the sleeves, done in white on blue tackle twill. Player name (ROY) is done in white tackle twill on a a red nameplate across the back. Fightstrap intact, with salting present. Multiple repairs and good game wear. The Getty file does not provide a date but it does mention the game was played against the Bruins, in Boston. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a letter from Photo-Match.com, confirming the match, as well as a Classic LOA.
