George Brett was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999 after making 13 All-Star teams and posting an unbelievable .390 batting average in 1980. This blue mesh pre-game jersey was worn by Brett during the 1983 season. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the size "44" and below it is a blue patch with the year "83" in white chain stitch. The team logo appears on the left breast and the player number "5" appears on the left sleeve and on the back of the jersey. The logo and numbers are made of white tackle twill. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. An additional letter of authenticity accompanies this jersey.
