On Nov. 9, 2005, HOFer Bobby Cox became the first manager to win back-to-back Manager of the Year awards (in addition to his two others which ties him with La Russa for the most). He is quoted as saying “I just wrote their names in the lineup and tried to encourage them”. This jersey comes from his first stint as Braves manager. Inside the back of the neck of this white knit, is the Wilson manufacturer label with size (44). Team name (Braves) across the front and coach number (6) below that and on the back - both done in blue on white tackle twill with red embroidered border. MGR name (COX) on a white nameplate across the back, in blue tackle twill. Strip tag with year (81) stitched in blue on the front left tail. This jersey is properly tagged, presented to us as manager-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
