Charlie Hough threw one of the nastiest knuckleballs in baseball history, allowing him to pitch well into his forties. This grey road knit jersey was worn by Hough during the 1988 season. On the inside left front tail of the jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag and size "44" and to its right is the player number patch "49" and the flag tag reading "Set 1 1988." The team name "Texas" is sewn across the front of the jersey and the player name "Hough" and player number "49" are sewn onto the back. All of the letters and numbers are of blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
