The 1971 season was the second of four straight 20-win seasons for Jim Palmer. Palmer autographed this home flannel jersey on the left front in black marker, with the somewhat faded signature rating a 7. On the left tail is the "Wilson" label and size "46." Below is a white patch with "1971 Set 1" in black chain stitch. Across the front is "Orioles" in script style leters made of orange tackle twill on black felt backing. On the back is "Palmer" in black felt letters. The player number "22" appears on both the left breast and the back. The numbers are made of orange tackle twill on a black felt backing. The back name and numbers have been restored. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the name and number restoration appears to have no alterations of any kind.
