Johnny Leonard Roosevelt “Pepper” Martin was a 2x WS Champ, 4x All-Star, 3x NL stolen base leader and a member of the St. Louis Cardinals HOF. This is a Hanna Batrite Pepper Martin professional model bat exhibiting heavy use with a handle crack. Length: 35”, weight 36.7 ounces, wood: ash and finish: steel tempered. Many ball marks are visible on all sides of the barrel. Cleat marks can be seen on the left barrel. Also visible on the bat are a few bruises on the barrel. Length (35) is stamped into the knob. This bat is properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a letter from PSA/DNA grading it a 7.
