Starting in the late 1910’s the New York Giants created sterling silver “fobs” for each season pass holder. The “fob” tradition ended in the early years of the Great Depression. Very few of these passes survived the Great Depression. This silver season pass is a scarce piece and shows minimal signs of wear compared to other examples. This Polo Grounds pass is stamped with the name, “Ruth H. Ayers” and is number “415”. On the rear side of the pass there is a stamp reading “Lambert Bros N.Y. Sterling”. In our opinion this pass is in NM condition.
