On this day, HOFer Charles Barkley became the 4th player in history with 20k points, 10k boards and 3.5k assists. It is an official SPALDING David Stern NBA basketball, which is stamped ‘UTAH JAZZ’ and is marked with six ‘x’s’, under the NBA logo. There is a piece of trainers tape affixed, with the statistics written in black marker. This ball is properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. We were told by our consignor that this ball originated from the Rockets locker room managing attendant. This basketball has been conclusively photo-matched to a game-action image of Barkley adding to his rebound total. Note that it is very difficult to find definitive photo-matches of vintage NBA basketballs, never mind from a superstar milestone game. Accompanied by a letter from Photo-Match.com, confirming the match.
