Hall of Famer Wilt “The Stilt” Chamberlain is one of the most accomplished players in NBA history. The term game changer applies directly to Wilt, forcing the NBA to make rule changes including; widening the lane to keep him and future big men further away from the basket. Even more astounding is Wilt’s regular season point scoring record of 4,029 points. To put that number into perspective, Michael Jordan is the only other NBA player to even break the 3,000 point barrier in the regular season. Offered are a pair of Chamberlain’s Lakers shorts. The shorts are sans a manufacturers tag. Embroidered on a white box tag beneath the inside rear waistband is the player number “13” in red chain stitching. The drawstring is intact. The shorts show outstanding use with pulling of the fabric in the waistband and considerable pilling and fraying to the bottom trim. Originally sourced from equipment manager.
