HOFer Shaquille O’Neal was selected as the 1st overall pick in the 1992 draft by the Orlando Magic. He had a notable rookie season with 23.4 points on 56.2% shooting, 13.9 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game. Due to his early success he was named the 1993 Rookie of the Year and was the first rookie to be named an All-Star since Michael Jordan. With the help of Shaq the Magic were able to end the season at 41-41, a 20 game increase in wins from the previous season. These Reebok Shaq Attaq model shoes show outstanding signs of wear and have been photo-matched by Sports Investors Authentication to two games, in which Shaq totaled 40 points and 27 rebounds. As stated in their letter these shoes show proper tagging but the lettering has severely faded over time. Additionally, we are told by our consignor these shoes were sourced directly from the team. Each shoe is autographed in a dark maker that has faded slightly over time. In our opinion, the autographs rate 5-6. These shoes are properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion show excellent wear. Accompanied by a full LOA from JSA, as well as a letter from SIA confirming the matches.
