At age 42, Hall of Famer Don Sutton was still spotting his tight-breaking curveballs, pinpoint fastballs (and maybe a sandpapered one or two) on the black of the plate. A big-game pitcher, he was a key in five LCS and four World Series, and is ranked among the all-time hurlers in virtually every category. Sutton's game-worn Angels road knit jersey from 1987 has on the left tail the "Rawlings" label and size "44" and the flag tag reads "Set 2 1987." Across the front is the name "Angels" and on the back is "Sutton." The player number "20" is on both the left breast and the back. All the letters and numbers are made of red tackle twill on a blue twill backing. On the left sleeve is the Angels patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
