Nicknamed ”The Admiral”, David Robinson was a 10-time All-Star, a four-time All-NBA First Team, a two-time NBA Champion and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009. During the 1989-90 season, Robinson was named the NBA’s Rookie of the Year. On the front left tail is the Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “46”. Adjacent above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the SAN ANTONIO SPURS” tag and adjacent to the side are two tags reading “89” and “2” LB” embroidered. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the front reads “SPURS” with the “U” as a “Spurs” logo in white on black on grey tackle twill. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “50” in white on grey tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “ROBINSON” in white tackle twill. Robinson signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “‘89 Rookie Of The Year!” and “HEB 13:5” and in our opinion rates a 9. Also included are the matching pair of Sand-Knit shorts size “36” with the same Designed & Exclusive tag inside the rear waistband. Adjacent are three embroidered strip tags reading “1 1-2” HR”, 1” LI” and “89” and a strip tag with the player number “50” handwritten on it. Sourced from the equipment manager, this uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a MEARS LOA grading the jersey a perfect A10, a LOA from the equipment manager's family and an ALOA from JSA.
