Inside the rear collar is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “46”. The year “45” is embroidered inside the rear middle tail in red chain stitching. On the left sleeve is the American flag war patch. On the left chest is the Tigers “D” logo in script which has been restored and on the back is the player number “9” in original navy blue felt. Tebbetts signed the front of the jersey in black with the added inscription “My Shirt - 1945” and in our opinion rates an 8. The third button from the top has been replaced and there is minor spot staining throughout. This jersey was worn in both 1945 and 1946. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a PM&G LOA grading the jersey a 9+ and an ALOA from JSA.
