A member of the MLB All-Century and All-Time Teams, Ted Williams was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966 on the first ballot. Williams is a two-time American League MVP and Triple Crown winner, a 19-time All-Star, a six-time AL batting champion and is also the last player to bat .400 in a season. Hillerich & Bradsby manufactured W166 model bat that measures 35 inches and weighs 32.7 ounces. The ash wood bat with a standard finish is uncracked with evidence of excellent use. Checking from ball contact and possible exposure to dampness is displayed on the back barrel. Several ball marks are visible on the barrel and there is a light coat of pine tar on the mid handle. The finish is stained on the left barrel and from the center brand to the knob. The model number is stamped into the knob. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA and an additional LOA from a Boston memorabilia dealer.
