Hall of Famer Mike Modano is regarded as one of, if not the best American born hockey player of all-time. Modano's numbers speak for themselves as he scored 557 goals and recorded 1,359 points in a career 1,459 games. Attached inside the collar is the Maska manufacturer’s tag with a written notation on it and an adjacent flag tag reading the size “56”. Inside the rear middle tail is a strip tag reading “Modano 9-W-’92-2” embroidered in black and the fight strap is intact. On the upper left chest is the alternate captain’s “A” logo and on the upper right chest is the “STANLEY CUP 1893-1993” anniversary patch. Across the front is the large Stars team logo crest in green, gold and white. The player number “9” appears on both sleeves in green on black on white tackle twill and on the back in green on white on black tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “MODANO” on a white nameplate in black tackle twill. The jersey features puck/hit marks, board burns and numerous repairs including a large repair to the left sleeve and right shoulder. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. This is the wear you want to see in a modern hockey jersey.
