Cal Ripken Jr. is baseballs' new Iron Man. A likely first ballot Hall of Famer, Cal announced that the 2001 season will be his last, and he will surely be missed. This Louisville Slugger, model P72, measures 35" and weighs 36 ounces, and shows nice use and is uncracked. The barrel displays many of the trademark Ripken ball and cleat marks. Ripken has signed the bat in silver paint pen and the autograph rates a strong eight. A tremendous example from the early days of his career.
