A vital part of the Colorado Avalanche's 1996 Stanley Cup-winning team, Hall of Famer Peter Forsberg wore this burgundy jersey that season as their superstar center. Inside the rear neck is a strip tag reading “56-R” with an “AUTHENTIC COLLECTION” tag above. Across the chest is the large Avalanche team logo crest. On the shoulders is the team’s “Bigfoot” logo patch. The player number “21” appears on both sleeves and on the back in white on blue on silver sparkle tackle twill. Across the back on a burgundy nameplate is the player name “FORSBERG” in white tackle twill. The fight strap is intact and on the back right tail is the “STARTER NHL” logo. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a Heritage LOA.
