Inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987, Larry Csonka appeared in three Super Bowls, winning two of them. Csonka was named Super Bowl VIII MVP, rushing for 145 yards on 33 carries and two touchdowns. Csonka was a major part of the 1972 undefeated Miami Dolphins campaign. On the front left tail is the Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag size “XL” with washing instructions. The player number “39” appears on the front, back and both sleeves painted in white on orange. Across the back reads the player name “CSONKA” in white tackle twill on a teal mesh nameplate. Csonka signed the back of the jersey in black marker with a personal inscription to Dolphins equipment manager Bobby Monica that reads “To Bobby - Best Always To The Best” and in our opinion rates a 6.
